VOLOMIS
Cross-linked HA filler
Volomis is a new generation of cross-linked hyaluronic acid filler. It is a "Made in Italy" line: Dermoaroma controls the entire production line, in highly tolerated formulations practically devoid of side effects — free of inflammatory and allergic reactions and of other toxic substances.
Volomis HA fillers use a high-quality hyaluronic acid to create a product with an increased cross-linking rate. The special multi-staged cross-linking technology creates three-layered small beads, which resolve the difficulty of creating a long-lasting HA filler: the filler does not transform its components after product completion, which makes it safe for the human body. The manufacturing process uses no raw materials of animal derivation and has eliminated organic solvents at all stages.
Features and characteristics
- Long-lasting — a four-stage cross-link achieved through microbeads gives high viscosity and cohesiveness and better resistance to degradation over time, so an optimal volume effect needs less product and repeated short-interval injections are no longer necessary.
- Volume enhancement — an outstanding hydrophilic capacity through a stable particle structure allows easy molding and a greater volume effect even with a small amount.
- Safe and effective — a high viscous semi-solid hyaluronic acid gel manufactured under strict quality controls that meet and surpass international standards.
The range
Three viscosities — Volomis Soft, Volomis Medium and Volomis Strong — covering superficial fine lines through to deep volume restoration.
How long does the treatment last?
The high degree of cross-linking supports a slower degradation in the tissue, so Volomis products persist at least 6 to 12 months. Durability varies according to skin type, age and the patient’s way of life, as well as the treated area and the injection technique. It can be necessary to renew the treatment partially in order to optimize the results and the durability of the correction.
Who should not use Volomis?
Volomis products should not be used on pregnant or breastfeeding women, patients presenting an auto-immune disease, antecedents of allergy or over-sensitiveness to hyaluronic acid, or an immunotherapeutic treatment. They should not be injected into inflammatory or infectious skin (acne, herpes, impetigo) or where there is a tendency to develop hypertrophic scars, and should not be used in conjunction with laser treatment, chemical peeling or dermabrasion. Prior consultation is necessary to know the patient’s medical history, especially previous aesthetic treatments.
